How to use Shot Sheets

If you've been given a Shot Sheet by your prescriber, use it to identify the amount of insulin to take.

Most patients check their blood sugar at the 

4-BEFOREs:

Before Breakfast, Before Lunch, Before Supper, Before Bed.

Check your sugar reading, find the number on your sheet and the dark number beside it shows you how much insulin to take.
